信息“助推”:算法时代传播引导研究的新视角

摘要:

在新旧宣传范式迭代的研究语境中,传播引导研究面临“原子式受众”与“刺激-反应逻辑”前提的动摇,源自行为经济学的“助推”(Nudge)观念带来新视角。算法力量的显现,启发传播学界将曾用于公共政策等现实情境的“助推”干预策略应用到信息情境中。信息“助推”,契合新宣传要求,指在不损害媒介受众自主选择权的前提下,传播者有意图地通过微小的符号线索(尤其是排序线索与提示线索)来为信息情境附加引导性,从而塑造受众认知方式,进而影响其态度和行为的新宣传方式。该视角带来两个有意义的研究议题:利用提示线索(内容标识)治理内容生态和利用排序线索(操纵显著性)展开营销认知争夺。需要强调,研究与实践都应重视信息“助推”的伦理问题,警惕商业与政治机构对该引导工具的挪用。
