数字话语的正向推断形塑了一种“连接”神话，老龄群体的数字融入成为亟需解决的问题。然而，老龄群体的主观技术经验在一定程度上被忽视，特别是缺乏对老年人数字行为的情境化理解。本研究对华北某村进行民族志考察，聚焦农村老人的数字实践尤其是数字断连现象及其情境化意义的阐释。研究发现，农村老人主要将智能手机视为一种家庭媒介来使用，以维系亲缘代际关系的连接，但在其他社会交往、信息获取等方面表现出相当的局限性。此外，中国农村老年群体受到个人身份定位、家庭权力关系与城乡社会结构的束缚，本能地表现出对于智能手机的游离态度。基于此，本研究讨论了以生命关怀为导向的数字策略，以期提升农村老年群体的数字幸福感和融入感。
