使用动机、错失焦虑与社交媒体沉迷——常态社会与危机情境中的比较研究

摘要:

本文基于对常态社会与新冠疫情两种情境下同一组大学生样本的追踪调查,从技术、主体、情境三种视角探讨个体对社交媒体沉迷的动因。研究发现,危机情境增强了大学生的媒介使用动机和错失焦虑,也带来了社交媒体沉迷度的加深。其次,常态社会与危机情境中,使用动机和错失焦虑均对社交媒体沉迷产生正向影响,需求越强烈、错失焦虑程度越高,越易引发社交媒体沉迷。第三,与常态社会相比,使用动机和错失焦虑对社交媒体沉迷的影响均因危机情境的到来而减弱,疫情的社交隔离情境"拉平"了不同个体间的沉迷程度差异。
