本文聚焦中国文化类污名现象——“飞盘媛”争议，以梅森巴赫的污名应对理论（SMC）为基础，运用大数据采集法和内容分析法研究中国社交媒体场域中的污名应对机制。研究通过对1530条微博文本的内容分析，发现中国社交媒体语境下“飞盘媛”污名应对机制既印证了SMC理论，即以理论中的逻辑谬误、攻击谴责者、价值超越与重新聚焦路径为主；又延伸了SMC理论，即不止“受污者”单个应对主体，而是呈现“受污者及未受污公众”双应对主体；更超越了SMC理论，即新增中国文化语境下的“褒义化调转”与“承认式否认”污名应对路径。
